How to Care for your Handcrafted Wood Board or Epoxy/Acrylic-coated Item:

  • Wash by hand with mild liquid dish soap and a non-abrasive sponge.
  • Immediately wipe dry and let it finish by air-drying on its side.
  • Don’t soak in water as that may cause it to warp.
  • Don’t put in the dishwasher or use harsh, concentrated cleaners.
  • Never expose your board to extreme heat (oven, microwave, etc.)
  • For epoxy or acrylic-coated items, never use a sharp knife or other utensil; this may permanently damage the coating.
  • Periodically, use food-grade wood conditioner on your board to bring back the wood’s natural beauty.  No conditioner is needed for an epoxy or acrylic-coated item.
